This Week In College Football!

Last Week: 11-3 (Gah! Two UA games missed in a row.)
Season Total: 40-7
I have to be up in less than 5 hours so once again I will try to keep this short (& with no Arizona game I might actually succeed!).
Top 10
· Mississippi at #5 LSU-LSU has quite possibly the best defense in college football. Ole Miss has… a terrible defense & Jeremiah Masoli (Hah! I knew he was an overrated product of Oregon’s system).
LSU 34, Ole Miss 14
· #7 Wisconsin at Michigan-A win here would guarantee Rich Rodriguez another year in Ann Arbor & one can only hope karma will come back to bite the Badgers for running up the score on an outmatched Indiana team last week. Now if only Michigan didn’t have the 93rd ranked defense in point allowed & Wisconsin wasn’t the 8th ranked scoring offense.
Wisconsin 41, Michigan 30
· #8 Nebraska at #19 Texas A&M-A&M’s offense has been on a roll since Ryan Tannehill took over the quarterbacking duties & they’re riding a 4 game win streak. However I’ve been on the Cornhusker bandwagon all year & I’ll be damned if I jump off now.

Nebraska 34, A&M 30
· #9 Ohio State at #20 Iowa-Iowa blew any shot they had at the Big 10 title last week. Ohio State’s been impressive 3 straight weeks following their loss at Wisconsin & still has a shot at the Rose Bowl or at the very least another BCS bowl. So I’ll pick… the Hawkeyes! (Please don’t shit your pants at the end of another game Stanzi. Please….)
Iowa 20, OSU 17
· #10 Oklahoma State at Kansas-Oklahoma State’s really good (Arizona gets to play them next year. Yay!) & Kansas sucks. The end.
OSU 45, KU 17
Games Between Ranked Teams:
· #13 Arkansas at #21 Mississippi State-Two weeks ago I picked Arkansas to beat a ranked South Carolina team on the road, & they did. Last week I said Mississippi State was outmatched against Alabama, & they were. Why mess with what works?
Arkansas 31, Miss St 23
· #16 Virginia Tech at #24 Miami-Virginia Tech was my pre-season #4 team. For 58 minutes in their game against Boise State they, & I, was looking great & then Kellen Moore went Heisman on their ass. Then 5 days later (That’s right, the Hokies only had 5 days to recover from a physically & emotionally draining loss) Virginia Tech lost to James Madison, a Division 1-AA school. Everyone began declaring them a fraud (some people were no doubt doing this in a pathetic attempt to belittle Boise State’s win). Well ten weeks later Virginia Tech is riding an eight game winning streak and in control of the ACC. So all of you Hokie & Bronco haters can shove it!
Virginia Tech 28, Miami 23
PAC-10
· #6 Stanford at California-Last week we learned Cal really is awesome at home as they narrowly lost 15-13 to #1 Oregon (even if they had to fake injuries to slow down the Ducks). Meanwhile Stanford looked far less dominant on the road against that other Arizona team. Still though I’ve learned my lesson from 2 weeks ago & I’m not betting against Luck & Harbaugh again.
Stanford 27, Cal 21
· USC at Oregon State-USC has a history of struggling up in Corvallis. However USC’s 7-3 & coming off an impressive win at Arizona while the Beavers are 4-5 & coming off a pathetic 31-14 home loss to Washington State, so give me the Trojans.
USC 38, OSU 24
