Emmy Preview-Who Should, & Will, Win


The Emmys are tonight  & alas I have failed yet again to finish my major category preview (this time only getting through the comedic supporting categories). So now I’ll just list who should win & who I think will win.

Supporting Actress in a Comedy:
Should Win-Alison Brie (Annie Edison, Community) but she’s not nominated so Sofia Vergara (Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Modern Family)
Will Win-Betty White (Elka Ostrovsky, Hot In Cleveland)
Supporting Actor in a Comedy:
Should Win-Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson, Parks and Recreation) but he’s also not nominated so Ed O’Neill (Jay Pritchett, Modern Familly)
Will Win-Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel, Glee)
Supporting Actress in a Drama:
Should Win-Margo Martindale (Mags Bennett, Justified)
Will Win-Margo Martindale (Hooray!)
Supporting Actor in a Drama:
Should Win: Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister, Game of Thrones)
Will Win: Alan Cumming (Eli Gold, The Good Wife)
Actress in a Comedy:
Should Win: Amy Poehler (Leslie Knope, Parks and Recreation)
Will Win: Laura Linney (Cathy Jamison, The Big C)
Actor in a Comedy:
Should Win: Steve Carell (Michael Scott, The Office)
Will Win: Steve Carell (He’s never won before so he’d better tonight)
Actress in a Drama:
Should Win: Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olson, Mad Men)
Will Win: Julianna Margulies (Alicia Florrick, The Good Wife)
Actor in a Drama:
Should Win: Jon Hamm (Don Draper, Mad Men)
Will Win: Jon Hamm (He needs to win with Bryan Cranston out of the field this year)
Comedy:
Should Win: Parks and Recreation
Will Win: Modern Family
Drama:
Should Win: Mad Men
Will Win: Mad Men
